In South Africa, during 2023 and 2024, Kinder Joy of moving carried out two activities: the on-going work with the Michele Ferrero Entrepreneurial Project and the Kinder Joy of moving Family Day for internal Ferrero employees.

The Michele Ferrero Entrepreneurial Project has been carrying out corporate social responsibility activities in South Africa since 2012. More specifically, the main scope this year was to refurbish the Sicelo Primary School sport facilities and to finalise the selection of the 7 new schools that are going to participate in the Joy of moving training via the in-person attendance of our trainers, plus the delivery of resources such as books and sport materials.

As a second step, we internally organised for the first time the Kinder Joy of moving Family Day in May/June. The Family Day was organised as a 2-days event only for internal Ferrero families, and it involved both BU (1st Event) and factory’s employees (2nd Event) in an-open field with Kinder Joy of moving. During these events, kids enjoyed sport activities based on the Joy of moving method, and received gadgets (hat, t-shirt and drawstring bag), and an attendance diploma.
