ISF World School Championship Football 2017
The final whistle has blown.
From May 21st to the 29th, Prague (Czech Republic) has hosted one of the biggest sports events for young athletes: the ISF World Schools Championship Football.
Boys and girls from 24 countries like Brazil, Armenia, India, New Zealand, Germany or France have gathered not only to compete, but also to learn from each other, meet new cultures and make international friendships. Like every ISF event, the WSC Football was held according the main motto of the International School Sport Federation, “Education through sport”, making the championship a unique chance for young people to come together not only for sport purposes but also to get to know different cultures from all around the world. Additionally, Vítězslav Lavička - a former professional Czech football player and current manager of U21 National team - has participated as a patron of the event. The support of a successful athlete like him has been a great motivation for youngsters to give the best of themselves during the WSC Football 2017.
The event was organized by the International School Sport Federation and the Czech School Sport Federation in partnership with Kinder+Sport, and it’s been played in 15 different Prague football venues.
