Joy of moving in Ecuador continued to expand through a dual approach that combines school-based implementation with social and institutional interventions for vulnerable communities. The program has been deployed through two complementary channels: on one hand, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Deporte and Culture through school-based roll-outs; and on the other, through interventions in care homes in coordination with the First Lady and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion. This approach has allowed Ferrero to broaden the program’s reach across different settings, while strengthening institutional relationships and positioning Joy of moving as a relevant platform for public sector engagement in Ecuador.

Dual Strategy

• School-Based Implementation:
In partnership with the Ministry of Education, Deporte and Culture, Joy of moving has been implemented in different schools, bringing the methodology into educational settings and strengthening teacher capacity to promote movement and active learning. 

• Social and Institutional Interventions:
The program has also expanded through deployments in care homes, in coordination with the First Lady and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, extending Joy of moving to children and educators in vulnerable care settings.
