Kinder+Sport has been active in India since 2015, with the first Summer Camp ever held outside the Village+Sport at Alba. The Baramati Summer Camps attract children aged 5 to 12, under the skilful guidance of both local and Italian trainers. The aim is to spread the culture of sports and promote personal growth. Kinder+Sport and its Joy of Moving method have demonstrated that sports and movement have a positive impact on cognitive and life skills.

The Baramati Summer Camp also provides an opportunity to train Indian instructors with new competences on the Joy of Moving method. The Alba Village instructors collaborated with the team in Baramati for the development of the Joy of Moving method in different disciplines, and for different stages of growth. The Kinder+Sport Summer Camps in Baramati have been an outstanding success, with hundreds of children involved (400 only in the 2016 edition). During the week, all the children in the Summer Camps – divided in four age groups - have experienced the Joy of Moving method through a variety of activities and sports, such as soccer, badminton, volleyball and basketball.
