There is a place entirely focused on the Joy of moving method: the Village Joy of moving in Alba, Italy
This is the place where the methodology was born and where trainers and educators actively spread Joy of moving around: a sports centre and research laboratory for innovation and teaching in the field of motor skills.
THE TRAINERS TEAM
The Village Joy of moving is composed of a team of professionals and graduates in the field of sports science.
They are points of reference for children and parents and they have been passionately spreading the activities of the methodology since 2015.
Trainers are in charge of teacher training in all schools with method-based projects such as in Italy, France, India, Mexico, Brazil and UK. They are also in charge of training the staff on the methodology activities carried out by Partners of the project such as Save the Children and Costa.
THE SPORT CENTER
Village Joy of moving is a center open to all, focused on bringing the importance of movement in everyone's life.
The activities carried out in the Village encourage movement done with joy, viewing sports as moments of fun to share together in the pursuit of well-being and sociability.
The result of a public-private agreement in place since 2011, the Village Joy of moving is a center open to all, organized with precision and expertise by an International Scientific Committee.
It boasts a consolidated collaboration with local sports associations in the city of Alba and the surrounding areas.
THE PARK
A park has been recently opened inside the Village Joy of moving with 7 play-motor machines designed to stimulate different skills in children.
It provides a facilitating environment in a colorful and joyful setting, that stimulates children to interact and have fun together.
