OUR INNOVATIVE METHOD

Through play, the Joy of moving methodology aims to get children moving while developing key skills in four domains, like rings of a gyroscope, which are fundamental for their growth: physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive functions and life skills.

Physical icon

PHYSICAL FITNESS

The ability to sustain physical exertion, whether brief or prolonged.

Coordination icon

MOTOR COORDINATION

The ability to make complex and adaptive movements.

Cognitive icon

COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS

The ability to plan, memorize, pay attention, restrain routine actions and thoughts, and be flexible.

Life icon

LIFE SKILLS

The ability to give oneself attainable goals, make decisions, create and find solutions as well as recognize, express, and manage emotions and communicate.

A FOUR-RINGS EDUCATIONAL MODEL

Gyroscope

The methodology aims for a holistic approach and is designed to engage all aspects of a growing individual, synergistically developing their physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive functions, creativity, and life skills to enhance their autonomy and ability to face the challenges of daily life.

We can represent these four fundamental domains as an interlinked rings of a gyroscope, stimulated by movement games. The central core of the gyroscope is, in fact, physical activity.
