"REWRITE THE FUTURE"
WITH SAVE THE CHILDREN IN ITALY
Kinder Joy of moving collaborates with Save the Children in Italy's six "Punti Luce" centers, benefitting over 400 children aged 6 to 11. This initiative provides an educational approach to movement, sports, and holistic development. Through the program, children can explore their potential and receive support in a safe environment.
Educators at the centers undergo specialized training by Kinder Joy of moving trainers, equipping them with effective methodologies and resources.
The collaboration emphasizes the value of physical activity and includes recreational and cultural activities tailored to enhance children's well-being.
By empowering children and assisting vulnerable families, the project aims to rewrite their futures and promote a brighter tomorrow.
SAVE THE CHILDREN USA AND KINDER JOY OF MOVING: EMPOWERING AT-RISK CHILDREN
Starting with the pilot project in summer 2019, Kinder Joy of moving partnered with Save the Children to introduce the methodology in three camps in California.
The success of the pilot led to the integration of the program into Save the Children's SummerBoost Camps reaching over 40 SummerBoost camp locations across California, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Arkansas.
More than 2,500 children participated, while an additional 3,500 families in local communities received Joy of moving activity kits that promoted at-home learning in STEM, reading, math, and physical activity, fostering cognitive learning and family bonding.
Kinder Joy of moving also conducted in-person training with Save the Children staff members using a "train the trainer" model.
The partnership aims to inspire breakthroughs and create lasting change in children's lives, to empower them and support families through movement, education, and well-being initiatives.
