Gira Praia: moving on the beach

Beach volley is an emerging sport, and it is attracting more and more young people. Within its global volleyball activities, with GiraVolei first and foremost, Kinder+Sport has dedicated a special program for Beach volley called Gira Praia. Reserved to children aged 10 to 12, Gira Praia is an invitation to discover the world of Beach volley. Participating schools receive a kit consisting of balls, nets, shirts and all necessary didactic materials.

The program is operated under the supervision of the Portuguese Federation of Volleyball, and is operated by PE teachers, assisted by volunteers nationwide. One of the most engaging features of Gira Praia is that it last for the whole of the School year, providing children with ample opportunity to exercise and compete in this thoroughly enjoyable sport.
