In Poland, another year full of Joy of moving!
This past summer, Kinder Joy of moving Polska organised over a dozen events as part of the Kinder Joy of moving programme, in which Ferrerians and their loved ones took an active part. In July, the programme took over the sports heart of the Polish seaside – city of Gdynia! On land, playing tennis with world-class stars such as Iga Swiątek and Hubert Hurkacz, but also offshore, organizing the largest regatta in Poland for children under multicoloured sails of Kinder Joy of moving.
"Meeting live the biggest sports idols – Iga Świątek and Hubert Hurkacz – during the opening ceremony of the WTA tennis tournament in Gdynia was an incredible experience for my 12-year-old son. Tymon has been playing tennis for several years now. An opportunity to hit a few rallies with both Hubert and Iga, in front of thousands of spectators, will certainly enhance his interest in the sport and will be remembered forever. It was amazing energy and great on-court fun. It's great that with Kinder Joy of moving we enable our children to live their dreams and passions! – said Bartłomiej Owczarczyk from the Trade Marketing Department.
"We came to the Kinder Joy of moving Coaches Sailing Cup in Gdynia as a whole family, as staunch supporters of our daughter Helena who has been learning to sail Optimist class boats at Warsaw-based KS Spójnia sailing club for a year. The event was an open-sea début for our daughter, but also a chance to gain valuable regatta experience. From a fan's perspective, I am impressed with the organisation of the event. The large number of young sailing adepts, the attractive sailor’s kits, but above all the unique atmosphere that prevailed throughout the event meant that all the children in our team came home with big smiles!" – said Agata Orłowska from the Marketing Department
Holidays by the sea can be active and engaging for the whole family!
At the end of the summer, in the south of Poland, Silesia, together with the Polish Volleyball Federation, the Grand Final of the KinderJoy of moving Cup National Mini-Volleyball Championships took place in the sports and entertainment Gliwice Arena. The event was attended by players from volleyball clubs and primary schools from all over Poland. Nearly 1,000 children, assisted by their coaches, played nearly 1,200 matches on 25 volleyball courts over three days. After a year's break was amazing to meet and play together! Michał Ciećwierz from the Sales Department took part in the event as a supporter of his nephews: "The event was an amazing and incredibly emotional experience which we will always remember with a smile. Very good organisation of the tournament with sound competition between the best teams from all over Poland. An event like this contributes significantly to the promotion of an active lifestyle among the youngest, but also to the progress of Polish volleyball. The enormous positive energy of the participants was a priceless experience. For my loved ones, the opportunity to compete on the national level thanks to the Kinder Joy of moving has resulted in a call-up to the U14 Polish national team." – said Michał with a real pride.
