Racchette in classe: a great final celebration in Turin
On November 26th and 27th, the final event of Racchette in classe was held, the project born in 2014 to bring the charm and great educational teachings of racket sports to primary school classes throughout Italy. The event saw the participation of over 2,000 children who had fun at the Giovanni Asti sports hall in Turin, a city defined as "the world capital of tennis" having recently hosted the ATP finals and a Davis Cup tournaments.
Racchette in classe is an initiative, strongly supported by Kinder Joy of moving, which enjoys the recognition of the Ministry of Education and Sport e Salute and provides for an educational and game-sport activity involving three sports disciplines, Mini Tennis, Table tennis and the Tambourine Ball, all thanks to the commitment of the Italian Tennis Federation and the very close collaboration with the Italian Table Tennis Federation and the Italian Tambourine Ball Federation.
Now in its seventh edition, the project has found a great deal of support: 5,000 Italian schools for a total of over 100,000 children involved in 2021.
Sports multidisciplinary, fun, breaking down barriers due to disabilities and an active life: Racchette in classe project is all this (and much more), enclosed in the satisfied smile of a child with a racket in his hand.
