Kinder Joy of moving and ISF together again for the first U15 World School Sport Games in Belgrade

2.000 young students, aged under 15, from all over the world have gathered in Belgrade, Serbia from the 11th to the 19th September for the first edition ever ISF U15 World School Sport Games organized by ISF - International Schools Sport Federation.

It was a special event since it was the first one after over a year's break due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the first again in collaboration with Kinder Joy of moving.

Collaboration that continues and has been further renewed until the end of 2022 thanks to the common sharing of intentions and objectives in promoting the values and positive aspects of education through sport.

Sport that on this occasion was not only one but fourteen! The participants have indeed competed in 14 different sports: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, 3x3 Basketball, Chess, Football, Judo, Karate, Orienteering, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball and Wrestling.

Hosted by the Serbian School Sport Federation in the city of Belgrade, ISF U15 World School Sport Games has been the largest international multi-sport event for school students aged 13 to 15, who gathered from 36 countries.

A sporting event but also an opportunity to share cultures, to grow, to inspire and entertain: participants have also been engaged in educational programs such as seminars and workshops designed to develop leadership skills and raise awareness of important topics such as health, gender equality and fair play, like the panel session dedicated to "Healthy Habits for Youth" where Prof. Caterina Pesce, one of the creators of Joy of moving methodology, also participated as a speaker.

Kinder Joy of moving’s presence has encouraged students in activities to communicate the true values of sport and involved them in tasks to make them real Joy of moving activists. As always, also the Fair Play award has been present to reward those who exhibit virtuous, honest and respectful behavior on the field.

Cultural activities and visits during the event have also provided opportunities to experience Serbia's culture and heritage, as well as given participants the chance to showcase their own cultures and traditions, creating cross cultural exchanges among all participants during the event.
