The last and decisive matches of the international event celebrating fair play, respect and friendship were disputed in France.

The final of Kinder+Sport Tennis Trophy, the second edition of the international tennis tournament for boys and girls aged 9 to 14, has taken place on the French Riviera, near the city of Biot, in the exclusive Mouratoglou Tennis Academy from October 11 to October 14. From February to September, the tournament counted 2,100 participants in 11 countries, such as Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Principality of Monaco and Hungary.

As part of the Kinder Joy of Moving project, the Tennis Trophy is more than a simple sports challenge. It is based on values such as trust in oneself and in people, integration, friendship and respect. The matches are played without umpires: the young players have the possibility to enjoy themselves and give their very best, guided by a highly educational fair play code.

The initiative started in 2006 after an idea by tennis pro Rita Grande, ex Italian champion, in collaboration with Kinder Joy of Moving, aimed at boosting active lifestyles and spreading sports disciplines amongst the new generations. In 2017 the event expanded to the international circuit, in order to take to the world stage the most positive aspect of sports and the joy of moving.

After the final match, several trophies were awarded. One of them was the fair play award, for the player who succeeded in taking to the tennis court the values of ethical sport in the best way. This year winner was Luca Pompei from Italy: he lent a racket to his opponent, who didn't have the right one, showing a great fair play, instead of winning for scratch. For the first time, a special surprise award of great value was given to children and their families. After each game, the participants celebrated and enjoyed at the Kinder Sport Village, but that's not all: they also had the opportunity to meet and get to know Patrick Mouratoglou, the internationally renowned coach.
